Fluidized bed dryers are widely used in chemical, pharmaceutical, agricultural and forestry products, food, light industry and other fields, and are a wide range of general mechanical products. China's vibrating fluidized bed dryer industry has gone through more than 20 years of history from formation and development to maturity. The conventional vibrating fluidized bed dryers currently required in the domestic market, as well as the main vibrating fluidized bed dryers required by the international market, can basically be manufactured by ourselves in China. The vibrating fluidized bed dryer can be used not only for material drying, but also for material cooling, humidification, etc., practical and convenient, and uniform in heat, stable in operation, convenient in maintenance and affordable. Vibrating fluidized bed dryer is widely used in the drying, cooling and humidification of powdery and granular materials in industries such as chemical industry, light industry, medicine, food, plastics, grain and oil, slag, salt, and tobacco. Used for dry cooling, cooling and humidification operations.

The fluidized bed drying equipment is simple in a single-layer cylindrical type. The disadvantage of this type of dryer is that the residence time of the material in the vibrating fluidized bed is widely distributed, and the humidity of the product obtained after drying is not uniform, and the diameter should not be too large. In order to improve this situation, a multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer has been developed, and multi-layer operation can improve the efficiency, but more importantly, it can obtain a more ideal residence distribution of solid particles and greatly narrow the residence time distribution. The material avoids short circuits during the drying process. The open-flow tube and the down-flow tube are used to develop into a through-flow type multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed. It is mainly used for internal diffusion to control the drying of materials, such as polyester resin, wheat grain, quartz sand, polypropylene particles and so on. However, it is difficult to operate, and the material layer on the sieve plate is not easy to establish, the bed resistance is large, and the structure is complicated.

In order to overcome the above shortcomings, a horizontal multi-chamber fluidized bed dryer was developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This vibrating fluidized bed dryer has a simple structure and convenient operation, and is suitable for various difficult-to-dry powders. Drying of materials and heat sensitive materials. Such as polyethylene, pesticides, artificial meat, copper sulfate, salt and so on. After decades of extensive application, it has better applicability to various materials. Compared with the box-type drying room, it has a small footprint, large production capacity, high thermal efficiency, and uniform temperature after drying. Compared with the airflow drying, the finished product can reach the desired moisture content by adjusting the length of residence time of the material in the vibrating fluidized bed. The operation is easy to control, and the particles are less damaged, and have been widely used in recent years. However, the horizontal multi-chamber fluidized dryer has lower thermal efficiency than the multi-layer vibrating fluidized bed dryer, especially when the hot air temperature is used. At the same time, the wet material tends to agglomerate in the first and second chambers of the dryer, and needs to be cleaned frequently.
